clouuuuuds. back at you, kerx!

today i didnt do much
(this is why i don't update krystle!!!)
i watched coraline in 3D, probably the most awesome part of the day
then i watched heroes up till the present episode
then i watched abdc (BEATFREAKS FTW!)
then i drew a bit
then i pasted paper clouds on my wall
then i met up with the irish, had a drink
then it started snowing so i decided not to party
then my roommates turned my brain to mush with mindless youtube vids
then i facebooked and facebooked and here i am!

i was supposed to meet viv in chicago today :(
but my coach was cancelled due to the weather.

am missing singapore <3

3 more weeks to spring break.

omg, i just got out of the class i have the most trouble trying to stay awake in.
and i feel so bad because im SO OBVIOUSLY DOZING OFF! like nodding off. and you know it happens when your notes start off very neat, then you realize you don't know what you're writing on the paper after awhile.

one thing i learnt was that singapore is pretty low on the uncertainty avoidance scale thingum.

but ANYWAY it was quite a weird night...

i love how my roomates love cooking haha
not only do i get to eat good food but the house smells good half the time too :)

random observations again.

• americans aren't in the habit of saying "you're welcome" to "thank you", they go "mhmm."
• the gaps between the doors in the toilets are relatively big. meaning you can actually look in while walking past cubicles...
• angmors are really confident. even if they're wrong / in denial, they are really. confident.

so today the weather dipped again and there was light snow, and

yesterday i attended my first HOUSE PARTEH!
the guys made chilli.
yup chilli... and they serve it in a bowl
i was thinking wah, sambal belacan???
but no, this is angmoh chilli. got random veggies and meat one.

and they took half a day to make it
and by the time it was done everyone was uber full
so now we have a big pot of chilli keeping warm on our stove... mmm.

i know now why i dont like cooking.
cos it's super mahfan! you have to wash wash cut cut, wait for the pan to heat up, stuff everything in, wait forever again, put in bowl/plate, then eat then put everything back then wash wash wash...

today is sunday. sunday is a day of rest. rest means no cooking. therefore i am eating the leftover chilli with stale hotdog bread! (= recipe for diarrhoea?)

spring break = nyc, bdc.
